Donations

Virgin Money Giving will cease operating on 30th November 2021, so instead we have now set up a facility with the Charities Aid Foundation called CAF Donate to collect online donations.

We really appreciate all the support we have received over the years through donations, which enables us to continue the beneficial work we do with our wonderful Team Members.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Oak Tree Farm Rural Project.

Gardeners' World Live - Beautiful Borders

Our Team Members contributed to garden designer Jayne Probyn's entry in the Beautiful Borders section at this year's Gardeners' World Live event at the NEC in Birmingham.
Jayne used Oak Tree Farm as the inspiration for her design and incorporated plants grown at the farm and ceramic flowers and a plaque made in our Pottery as part of her display.
Congratulations to Jayne who won a silver-merit award for her 'Beautiful Border'.

Online Shop

Online Shop

Oak Tree Farm Rural Project tea room and shop remain closed to the public for the time being in order to keep our Team Members, some of whom are quite vulnerable, safe.

As a result, we have now opened an online shop, where we have a selection of our Oak Tree Farm merchandise, bakes, produce, plants, pottery, crafts and textiles available for you to purchase.

Rather than being a purely commercial enterprise, the online shop's main objective is to give a purpose to our Team Members' activities at the farm e.g. baking scones and cakes for sale whilst the tea room is closed, and putting together the orders as a vocational learning activity.

The plant sales and the tea room bakes and produce will be sold on a click and collect basis, but most of the pottery and craft items are available through click and collect, or can be delivered.

For items to be collected, we will contact you to arrange a suitable collection date and time. As the online shop is primarily an activity for our Team Members, collection times will be only available on the days that they are here - Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.

You will be asked to collect your order from the overflow car park area at the bottom of the drive, but you will not be able to come through the gates to the tea room and shop due to the COVID restrictions currently in place.

We hope you enjoy browsing our new online shop.

Update 17th May 2021

Although Lockdown measures have changed again today, we are following local and national guidance for Day Services for vulnerable adults and will NOT be reopening Oak Tree Farm (including our Tea Room and Shop)  to visitors at the present time so that we can continue to keep our Team Members safe.

We have been steadily increasing the number of Team Members back at the farm each week, whilst maintaining social distancing, following other Covid secure measures and participating in regular testing.

We look forward to being able to welcome visitors back at a future date, but for now our Tea Room and Shop will remain closed.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support Oak Tree Farm Rural Project.
