Our Oak Leaf Tea Room and shop will be closed on Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Monday 21st April for Easter. We will be open again on Tuesday 22nd April.
Oak Tree Farm AGM
The Annual General Meeting of Oak Tree Farm Rural Project Limited will be held in our Oak Leaf Tea Room on Wednesday 16thApril at 7:30pm.
This is an opportunity to hear about what the organisation has been doing over the past twelve months and about some of our future plans. The meeting will be followed by light refreshments.
Raku - Art and Alchemy Pottery Day
Come and enjoy an exciting pottery experience at Oak Tree Farm
Saturday 10th May 2025 10am to 4pm
The ancient Japanese art of Raku is notable for its dynamic and rapid process, featuring dramatic 'live' kiln firing.
After selecting from the hand-thrown pots provided you'll be guided through simple, effective glazing techniques to glaze 3 pots of your own.
Your pots will finally emerge from smouldering ashes revealing the special qualities of Raku - a combination of earthy tones, metallic effects and rich deep colours.
Andy Mason, potter, teacher and workshop leader brings an energetic approach, and many years of practical experience to the Raku workshop process, and an insight into the ancient rituals, blending tradition with his individual techniques.
No previous experience required, just an interest and willingness to participate, and soak up the energy, art and alchemy of Raku!
Cost £120 – includes light lunch and hot drink

Plant Sales 2025
We hope that our summer bedding plants, basket plants, vegetable packs and perennials will be ready to sell from early May from the plant sales area next to our Oak Leaf Tea Room.
On Saturdays throughout the Summer our polytunnels and greenhouses will also be open to visitors for plant sales.
Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 10am to 3pm.
Paul Wyatt
Paul Wyatt, Volunteer and Trustee, sadly passed away just before Christmas.
Paul had been a valued member of the Oak Tree Farm family for many years, both as a volunteer and as one of our Trustees.
In recent years Paul could often be seen in our tea room helping raise funds for the farm through organising our book sales area.
We remember Paul warmly and our thoughts are very much with Gill and his family and friends.
