Our stunning Oak Leaf Tea Room is a cosy larch building set in a glorious spot on the farm and opened in 2011.The approach to the tea room showcases the sales area for the huge selection of plants and cut flowers grown on the farm. It is open to the public 6 days a week and offers a relaxed environment for customers to enjoy morning coffee, a light lunch or afternoon tea. Our cakes have a great reputation!

Team members enjoy a wide variety of roles and responsibilities working alongside staff and volunteers. These roles include  greeting visitors, preparation of fruit, vegetables and salad ingredients, cake and scone making, icing and decorating cakes, stock checks and stocking up of cold drinks, making hot drinks, taking orders, serving customers, clearing and laying tables, washing up, cleaning and heath and food hygiene understanding.

We are so proud when individuals develop new skills over time; this may be making a specific recipe independently, it may be efficient and safe use of the dishwasher, careful chopping of carrots for soup, or always having a warm welcome for customers.

The tea room is a lovely space for all our team members to get together for special events such as pancake day or for Halloween activities. It is also the venue for our monthly Trustee meetings and the Annual General Meeting.

Alongside the tea room you will find our shop, opened in 2019. This includes an area for floristry work.  Here you can find gifts, especially the pottery made on site, cut flowers when in season and various crafts and cards. The tea room and shop are open Monday to Saturday 10.00am until 3.00pm. There are sometimes closures for training, holidays etc. these are published on the website.
